Approximate size: \u003cstrong\u003ediameter 21cm\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe base carries a \u003cstrong\u003epseudo-Chinese seal mark painted in underglaze blue\u003c\/strong\u003e, the mark used by the Staffordshire stone-china and ironstone makers of the period. The Money Tree pattern is best known on Coalport porcelain — a service is in the Royal Collection — but the heavy stone-china body of this example points to one of the Staffordshire potteries working in the same fashionable taste.
