Antique Chinese Canton Famille Rose Tea Cup Figural Panels Gilt 19thC

A 19th century Chinese Canton (Cantonese) famille rose tea cup, painted with panels of mandarin figures and flowers, heightened in gilt, with a loop handle.

It measures approximately 11 cm in diameter to the rim and was made for the export market in the 19th century.

Canton famille rose 'rose medallion' wares are very collectable and decorative.

Condition: there is a small firing line to the edge (a manufacturing characteristic, shown in the photographs). Otherwise good. The photographs form part of the description.
