Antique Derby Porcelain Heart Shaped Dessert Dish Painted Flowers Red Mark AF

A Derby porcelain heart-shaped dessert dish, c.1806–1825, hand-painted with a flowering shrub of orange, pink and yellow blossoms with green foliage in the Chinese famille-rose manner, within a shaped rim. Length approximately 25cm.

Marked to the base with the red painted crown, crossed batons, dots and D of the Derby factory, Duesbury/Bloor period. A charming and unusual pattern for Derby, which is more often seen with Imari or landscape decoration.

Condition: Please see images for condition — the photographs form part of the description and show every angle, the base and any faults. There is a hairline crack and a chip, both photographed. Priced accordingly and sold as found.
