Antique English Caneware Cup c1800 1820 Engine Turned Basketweave 8cm

An antique English caneware cup, c.1800-1820, in a warm cane-coloured stoneware body, of cylindrical form with an engine-turned basketweave band around the lower body, a beaded band below the rim and a plain loop handle. The interior is glazed.

The base carries a Pendergast Collection label numbered C315. The cup is otherwise unmarked.

Size: 8cm high, 8cm diameter.

Condition: Good antique condition with wear consistent with age. We have not found chips, cracks or restoration; please see the photos.
