Antique French Gilt Metal Figural Mantel Clock White Marble Base Bell Strike

A French gilt-metal figural mantel clock, the drum case flanked by a gentleman in a tricorn hat among foliage, on a white marble plinth with gilt mounts. White enamel dial with Roman numerals; the movement strikes on a bell. Late 19th century.

The movement is stamped M.C 900 with serial numbers.

Condition: It runs and chimes, but has not been fully tested. Supplied with its pendulum; no key. Wear consistent with age; please see the photos.
