A striking antique original oil painting on board, housed in an ornate gilt frame. The work depicts a crowd of figures in traditional Russian dress making their way through a snow-covered village, with the distinctive onion domes of an Orthodox church visible in the background. The reverse bears the original gallery label from Kunsthandlung Kaulfuß, Liegnitz (now Legnica, Poland), a well-regarded Silesian art dealership, confirming this as an Original Oil Painting (Original-Oelgemälde). The label records the title as "Der Kirchgang" (Going to Church) and attributes the work to artist Rasumov. The painting is executed in an expressive, impasto style consistent with late 19th / early 20th century Russian Realist or Impressionist traditions. Rich earthy tones contrast against the snow-white foreground, with figures rendered in vivid detail — a woman in a yellow coat and another in red are particularly prominent in the foreground. A rare piece with strong provenance documentation and significant decorative and historical appeal. Dimensions: 48 x 3 x 35 cm.
