Antique Turner Stoneware Mug Tankard c1810 Sprigged Relief Georgian Drab

A Georgian drab stoneware mug or tankard applied with a single sprigged band of figures, the rim with a brown slip line.

Impressed TURNER to the base, for John Turner & Sons, c.1810.

Condition: Good condition inside, could use a further clean. Crazing. Crazing and minor firing imperfections are consistent with age and are normal for this type of early stoneware. Please study all photographs closely, as they form part of the description.

Dimensions: approximately 13cm high.
