A large and decorative Georgian stoneware jug applied with a sprigged classical and sporting frieze, raised on a moulded foot with a brown slip rim.

Impressed Adams to the base c.1800.

Condition: STAR CRACK inside rim (photo 6). Crazing. Crazing and minor firing imperfections are consistent with age and are normal for this type of early stoneware. Please study all photographs closely, as they form part of the description.

Dimensions: approximately 23cm high.
