A pair of 18th century Wedgwood jasper portrait medallions; the old label describes them as mounted plaques depicting a Marquis.

The medallions are framed; subjects as given on an old label attached to the frame. Late 18th century Wedgwood portrait medallions of this type were made in jasper with a coloured dip, and were sold framed for display.
