Ridgway Ironstone Imari Pattern Footed Bowl Comport Antique 24cm

A handsome Ridgway ironstone footed bowl / comport, decorated in a rich Imari palette of underglaze blue, iron-red and gilt florals, the scalloped rim raised on a pedestal foot.

The base carries pattern number 13. The bowl measures approximately 24 cm in diameter.

Ridgway produced fine ironstone dessert and table wares in the 19th century, and Imari-palette comports of this kind make a striking display piece.
