Vintage Milk Glass Miniature Oil Lamp Hobnail Applied Amber Roses Brass Burner

A miniature oil lamp in white milk glass, the font moulded with spiralling ribs and rows of hobnail beads, with a tulip-shaped shade. Both shade and font are decorated with applied amber-coloured rosettes.

It is fitted with a brass crown-gallery burner with its wick and winder. There are no maker's marks on the glass or the burner.

Condition: there is a chip to the edge of the foot rim, shown in the photos, and general wear consistent with age. We have not tested the lamp with oil, so it is sold as a decorative piece.

We list a wide range of antique and vintage glass, including scent bottles and atomisers, so please take a look at our other listings.
